This Single Malt distilled at the Kurayoshi Distillery is matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and then transferred to Bourbon barrels that have had the heads swapped out for Sakura Oak for the last few months of maturation. Un-chillfiltered, Natural Color. 14-19 months old.

On the label,the artist Kikukawa Eizan, portrayed Japanese women of strength and grace in his ukiyo-e masterpiece, which we believe was a great fit for the sakura cask which also possesses an underlying strength of flavor and a sweet aroma.
