ABOUT THE WINE

The 2024 Lirac Blanc is a carefully assembled blend, typically including Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, and Viognierall sourced from organically farmed vineyards rooted in sand, clay, and galets rouls soils. This terroir contributes both aromatic lift and depth of structure. The wine opens with expressive notes of ripe orchard fruit, citrus blossom, and wild herbs, followed by subtle almond and fennel tones.

Vinification is carried out with a light touch: hand-harvested fruit is pressed gently, with fermentation in stainless steel and partial aging on fine lees to enhance texture and preserve vibrancy. Malolactic fermentation is blocked to retain freshness. The result is a wine that is both generous and finely tuned. Pair it with Mediterranean faregrilled fish with lemon and herbs, Provenal vegetable dishes, or poultry with creamy sauces.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Domaine de la Mordore, founded in 1986 by the Delorme family, has become one of the Rhne Valleys most respected estates. Today, it is led by Ambre Delorme, who continues her family’s vision of crafting terroir-expressive wines with a focus on sustainability and biodiversity. The estate farms over 50 hectares across several appellationsincluding Chteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Tavel, and Ctes-du-Rhnewith all vineyards certified organic and biodynamic.

The estates hallmark is precision and carefrom meticulous vineyard management to restrained, detail-oriented vinification. Domaine de la Mordore is especially admired for its ability to produce both structured reds and compelling whites and ross that reflect the nuances of their origin.
